MathGV

This tutorial is designed to provide online support for learning the MathGV software program. By using this step-by-step tutorial, the guesswork and frustration of learning a new software program is eliminated. This tutorial will demonstrate how to use MathGV to create the major types of problems and graphs that would be required in any Davenport University Online math class (except those utilizing Excel and Minitab).

GLEIM

Gleim FAME ("Financial Accounting Made Easy") is an interactive accounting tutorial that tests a user's understanding of accounting basics. There are 11 study units and each study unit takes about 1-2 hours to complete. They consist of the following: an audiovisual presentation, true/false study questions, a study sheet, a knowledge transfer outline, interactive exercises, and a multiple-choice quiz.

FAME is set up on learning objectives. The student views information and examples of a particular learning objective and is then tested in several different ways to see if the objective has been learned. During the assessment process, students receive input as to why their answer is incorrect. If the objective has been learned, the student can then view the next learning objective and its corresponding information and assessment. If the objective has not been learned, the student is provided with additional information and further assessment.
